This Yalding fruit farm aims to promote local produce with new technology, providing berries all year round. Clock House Farm has installed a river-source pump that sources heat from the river Medway to warm greenhouses where the fruit is grown. thousands of tons of blackberries and strawberries grow there. “We’re taking water out of the river and run it through our heat exchanger,” says Oli Pascall with Clock House Farm. With this new system, they hope to extend the growing season.
