Productions Horticoles Demers, a Quebec greenhouse production company, will more than double its output with the construction of a new, 15-hectare greenhouse In Levis. Tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, and eggplant will be grown year-round in the greenhouse.

The time-lapse video is made by Gobeil Dion and Associes Inc, a Canadian engineering consulting firm specializing in the implementation of forest biomass heating systems, greenhouse construction project management, and energy efficiency in agricultural, industrial, and institutional buildings.

Gobeil Dion and Associates commented: “We are proud to present our video montage of one of our major achievements of 2021, the 15 ha Project of Productions Horticoles Demers for which Gobeil Dion & Associés acted as project manager. The future of greenhouse farming is a promoter, and we are always looking for dynamic people wishing to participate in the development of local agriculture and food autonomy in Quebec with our team. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in this challenge. Thank you to all those who participated directly or indirectly in the success of this project!.”
