Spokesman of Agriculture Department, Punjab has said that a two-day “Pakistan Horti Expo 2022” is being organized under the auspices of Agriculture Department in which Pakistani fruits, vegetables, and products are made from them will be highlighted internationally.
In this regard, Stalls will be set up in Expo Center, Johar Town, Lahore on January 29th and 30th. This year, experts/ delegates from Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Turkey will be present at the Pakistan Horti Expo.
Exporters and other stakeholders will also participate in this exhibition. The MoU worth $ 5 million is expected to be signed through this exhibition. The spokesman disclosed that Agriculture Department has also organized 3 likewise exhibitions prior to organizing this Expo and 100 delegations from 15 countries attended these events. Through these exhibitions, Pakistan’s exports increased by the worth of $10.2 million.
The spokesperson further said that Pakistan Horti Expo 2022 is providing a platform to the people associated with the Horticulture sector which will be a means of introducing Pakistani products all over the world and increasing our agricultural exports.
